Le créateur de Modern Family développe une nouvelle série pour Netflix

Depuis plusieurs années, le géant du streaming essaye désespérément de produire des séries comiques. Uncoupled, Blockbuster, Directrice … l’entreprise américaine ne cesse d’investir mais le résultat n’est jamais très convaincant. Netflix avait pourtant confié la mise en scène de Blockbuster à la créatrice de Brooklyn Nine-Nine ! Uncoupled et Directrice étaient respectivement portées par Neil Patrick Harris et Sandra Oh ce qui laissait présager un immense succès …

Les dirigeants de la plateforme de streaming ont décidé de recruter l’un des meilleurs dans le domaine de la comédie : Steven Levitan. Ce dernier est à l’origine de Modern Family, l’une des meilleures sitcoms du XXIe siècle. Il s’associera avec Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, The Good Place) pour mettre en scène la relation improbable entre une femme agnostique et un rabbin qui n’hésite pas à s’affranchir des règles.

Ce duo improbable ne débarquera pas sur Netflix avant la fin de l’année prochaine puisque le projet n’en est qu’à ses débuts. Alors est-ce que cette nouvelle création originale pourrait atteindre le niveau de TBBT ou HIMYM ? La réponse est évidemment non mais une association entre Steven Levitan et Kristen Bell pourrait nous offrir une belle surprise. Affaire à suivre !

Je suis capable d'apprécier tous les genres, mais il ne faut pas que la série dure trop longtemps car je me lasse vite.
